The Forgetting Curve
Category: Microlearning Video
My Role: Video Production & Editing
Project Description: Using Animaker, I built an animated micro-video explaining how Ebbinghaus’s Forgetting Curve works. This video was then used to introduce the subject to instructional designers and trainers and help them understand why knowledge retention is often low, especially in adult learners. This was part of a Train the Trainer and Designer series aimed at increasing engagement and retention.

My Role: Writer, Producer, and Editor
Project Description: In this video, I used video footage from Adobe Stock to create a comedic short in the style of the Blue Planet series, which is narrated by Sir David Attenborough. A voice-over actor performed my script in the style of Sam Elliott. I then animated the intro credits, matched videos with the narration, and created a score with royalty-free music.
Adobe’s Make the Cut Contest
Category: Music Video Editing Contest
My Role: Editing Entry
Project Description: This video is my entry into an Adobe Creative Suite contest to highlight Premiere Pro functionality. Entrants were given the audio file of Imagine Dragon’s Believer single and a master file of video clips that had no audio attached. I selected the video clips that I found interesting or powerful and matched them to the beats in the audio file. I also made sure that any time the singer was featured the lyrics matched his mouth movements precisely.
